Window & Door Rot Restoration
Wood Rot Restoration
When it comes to almost any part of your house that is suffering from rot due to leaks or high levels of moisture / humidity it can be very costly to have everything replaced. If rot damage is detected early, you could save yourself a lot of money.
The way we treat rot damage is by using a thin solution of epoxy resin compounds to lock out water & waterproof timbers. This is referred to as a chemical cure which consists of a two part solution (base & hardener) which is applied once the majority of the rot has been removed taking 48 hours to fully cure.
This treatment is of high quality & is commonly used in treatments applied to rot damage on boats in the marine industry.

Additional Protection (Boron / Fluorine Rods)
Deep rot & moisture damage cannot always be reached by a surface level chemical cure. This problem is usually seen in large window / door frames, beams, rafters, posts, decking bearers & joists.
The solution to this is the use of concentrated Boron & Fluorine rods that are manufactured as a slow release wood preservative which diffuses into the wood over time acting as decay protection & prevention system for wood (inserted by drilling a 45-degree angle into the affected wood & pushing the rods in so they sit at the base of the desired treatment area).
Boron / Fluorine rods will protect the treated areas that are prone to rot, termite or fungal attack (up to 10 years protection).
